Touching on Inspection

We believe that in order to produce exceptional quality parts, it takes high quality inspection equipment to inspect our work with.

Measuring bores

Mitutoyo bore mics, Meyer gage pins, Starrett small hole gages, and others are some of the tools we utilize for checking tight tolerance bores.

Setting gages and measuring

We use a lot of Mitutoyo around here.  From gage blocks to micrometers to drop gages.  Mitutoyo has not let us down.

Thread gaging

For machining threads, we choose thread go/no go gages and thread mics to ensure proper fitment.

Depths and steps

For measuring depths, steps, counterbores, and countersinks, we like digital depth gages, chamfer gages, digital drop gages, and our Tesa Hite height gage.

Machine probing

All of our milling machines are equipped with Renishaw probing.  We calibrate our spindle probes using known ring gages.

Our Renishaw datum sphere is used to calibrate the MRZP of our 5 axis trunnion.

Just a few of the items we use for qualifying our work.
